45th Annual 100 Mile & District Outriders Sanctioned Little Britches Rodeo

Rescheduled to Saturday, July 16th, 2011 Start Time 9:00 a.m. for Junior events (unless changed by the LBRA)

  News update: unfortunately, the Little Britches Rodeo has been cancelled for this year. Please continue to support our Club activities this and next year.


Grand Entry will follow the Rodeo Parade through 100 Mile House which may finish at the Stan Halcro Arena - please keep this in mind as entry into the rodeo grounds may be disrupted during the parade from approximately 10:00 until 10:30 or later!
Senior events follow Grand Entry and Mutton Bustin'.

Gate Fees: Adults $10.00; Seniors and students $5.00; Kids 6 years and under = free, as well as the contestants and a signing parent/guardian (for all events except Mutton Bustin')

As the rodeo is SANCTIONED this year, entries will ONLY be called in the Little Britches Rodeo Association, except for Mutton Bustin' entries, which will be taken at the rodeo office on rodeo day.

Please note that the call-in phone number and call-in time is posted on the BC Little Britches Rodeo Association website, though we'll supply it here: PHONE ENTRIES will be taken by phone number at 250-296-4778 on May 11th from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. ONLY. Please check their website if you have any questions re: entries. Mutton bustin' entries will be taken at the rodeo office on rodeo day ONLY, starting at 8:15 a.m. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

  1. Also note that SENIOR and JUNIOR competitors have 4 events instead of just 3 to choose from.
  2. Please note that the rodeo starting time is 9:00 a.m. for Junior Competitors. Senior competitor events will follow Grand Entry and Mutton Bustin' .
  3. Junior and Senior boys do not have to do the steer/cow riding event to qualify for the Jr./Sr. Boy All-round prize. Boys do have to enter their age group's roping event, as well as one more timed event to qualify.
  4. The junior events will be run FIRST, alternating between junior boys and girls' events, then the senior events will be run after GRAND ENTRY.
  5. Rodeo office opens at 8:15 a.m. on rodeo day!
  6. Helmets are not mandatory, but are highly recommended.

Mutton Bustin'
Expert mutton buster at work...

Mutton Busting (boys and girls aged 6 years and under, AND under 50 lbs)

Will be run as an "Intermission Event" following GRAND ENTRY at noon and one more go-round later in the afternoon (15 goes per round for 30 entries max). Entries for mutton bustin' will be taken the day of the rodeo only (no phone entries beforehand).
