What's New in 2012?

News update for January:
Linda recently sent out an email that we had a surplus of some concession supplies from last season that are for sale at a reduced cost if anyone's interested. "I have 8 cases of 5 1/2 oz burger patties (30/case) for sale for $20/case. (Cost was ~$32/case). I can deliver to town if anyone's interested. Also other odds and ends - fries, onion rings and chicken strips. If anyone's interested in those, let me know and I'll check prices." Please send Linda an if you're interested in purchasing any of these supplies.

We ALWAYS need new members!

The 100 Mile and District Outriders club is only as good as its membership. We are sadly lacking volunteers to help with any of our many events and work bees. Please the club if you are interested in helping out, or come to the next Outriders meeting. They are held the first or sometimes second Tuesday of each month, 5:30 p.m. at 100 Mile Library in 100 Mile House .

Ambassador Contest Cancelled for 2011

Speaking of needing volunteers, the Ambassador Contest has been cancelled this year as there was no-one to organize it. There are lots of great prizes to be won, not to mention that the First and Second Ambassadors lead the Little Britches Rodeo parade! The contest is open to boys and girls from 6 to 18 years of age!

Barn Raising on September 28th, 2008

Thanks to the efforts of several dedicated members, the Outriders now have a barn on the grounds! Ron Szigety drove down to Ladner to pick up the barn on Saturday, and the gang showed up on Sunday for the official "barn raising"! Thanks, Carolyn for taking photographs during the day. The barn does not yet have a roof on, but at least the walls are up and it looks great! Take a boo for yourself!
